PasteStack

Privacy Policy

PasteStack is a clipboard manager for Mac. It is built so that what you copy stays on your Mac.

What stays on your Mac

Everything you copy and PasteStack saves (text, links, images, files, notes and tags) is stored only on your Mac. We never receive, see or store your clipboard history.

What we collect

When PasteStack goes online

Apple Intelligence

On supported Macs, summaries and titles are created on your Mac by Apple Intelligence. Nothing is sent to us. Secrets are never summarised. You can turn this off in Settings.

Passwords and sensitive items

PasteStack skips known password managers, anything an app marks as hidden, and anything copied while a password field is active. It masks recognised API keys and tokens until you reveal them. It cannot recognise every password: if you copy one from an ordinary web page, note or an unknown app, it may be saved like other text. Delete such items, exclude those apps in Settings, or pause PasteStack while handling sensitive information.

Sharing and selling

We do not sell your data or use it for advertising. We share it only with the services needed to run PasteStack (payments, email delivery and hosting) or when the law requires it.

Keeping and deleting your data

We keep sign-up and license records while your beta or license is active, and as long as tax law requires for purchases. Email support@pastestack.app to see or delete your data.
